My Background

— HOW I STARTED IN UX/UI DESIGN After over 6 years working as a Jewellery Designer cum Service Engineer, I became fascinated when I was first introduced about User Experience in 2018 by my friend. After that day, I never stop learning about it. Next thing was to learn from every free source available out there. I got most of my knowledge from Design Communities, specifically "DesignJungle". After getting help from friend, communities and internet, I published my first case study few months later on medium. Soon after that I got my first job in a design agency startup in Gurgaon.

— WHY I SHIFTED TO USER EXPERIENCE

After spending so many years in Jewellery designing my growth as a designer stopped. I could not progress further as I didn't have any education/degree in the field. I was a self-taught jewellery designer. When I got to know that degree/certificate is not a hurdle in User Experience, I immediately fall for it. All I have to do was build my experience in the field.

— CURRENT JOB Since June 2019, I have been working for the Agency called DesignForPeople. I got an amazing mentor to work with and a cool team. We became the core member of the agency. As a UX/UI Designer, I mainly worked on a Fintech App, a platform to bring Borrower & Lender together to bring transparency of transactions between them. We worked together to convert the idea/vision into an MVP. Alongside this, I also worked on some other minor projects for the agency in Healthcare and Services.
